DIY Fresh Herbal Tea, aka Meadow Tea

Check Availability

1/2 c Peppermint
1/4 c Rosemary
1/3 c Thyme
1/4 c Lavender
1/2 c Lemon Balm, and/or the peel of 1 Lemon, (outer yellow zest only), *optional
¼ – ¾ c Honey
1 quart boiling water

For Iced:

Stir the fresh herbs into the hot water.

Add the lemon peel and honey. Stir to dissolve.

Let steep 5-10 minutes. Drain and add up to 2 more quarts of cold water or 2 cups of ice.

Store covered in the refrigerator.

*Makes up to 10, 12 oz glasses.

For Hot:

Reduce amounts to 1 tablespoon each of fresh herbs and 1 tablespoon honey.

Add 12 oz boiling water and steep for 3-5 minutes. Then add a squeeze of lemon juice.

*Makes 1 mug.
