Established in 2008, the vineyard is part of a 135-acre farm that has been in the Cassel family since 1903. Spend the afternoon sitting on their porch overlooking the lush rows of grape vines, sampling the award-winning estate-grown wines, and watching the horses graze in the nearby pasture.
During the summer months, they host Music in the Vines, filling their weekends with music, wine, and local food trucks. Although located outside the Hershey area, Waltz Vineyards Estate Winery is a destination you will definitely want to add to your weekend itinerary. The Waltz family has blended elegance, authenticity, and a deep-rooted passion for winemaking that is evident in every award-winning bottle. Their goal is not only to produce the best wines but also to be good stewards of the farmland they own. They are committed to using grapes only grown on their estate.

Crosswinds Winery
Conveniently located in Hummelstown, on PA 39, the Crosswinds Winery tasting room and gift shop offers a unique and delightful boutique setting. At a separate location, their vineyard and family farm are in Juniata County, but Ed and Linda Jansen, who are also pilots, have added an unusual plot to their story by building an airport among the grapes they grow on their property! Their nod to aviation can be appreciated within the design of their labels and creative names like Fly Boy Rosé, Perfect Landing, and Barrel Roll. You can enjoy sampling the wines in one of their tasting rooms or relaxing in a rocker on their front porch.
