CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in time is between 3:00 and 6:00 pm. We cannot accommodate early check-in or late check-out. Please notify the inn on the day of arrival to inform us of your estimated check-in time or arrange for after-hours check-in.
Check out time is 11 am. Late checkout without the innkeeper’s consent will result in additional charges of $25 per half hour past the standard checkout time, as we require this time to prepare the room for our next guests’ arrival.
TAXES
A 6% state sales tax will be added to all reservations.
CANCELLATIONS, DEPOSITS, AND REFUNDS
Cancellations made 10 or more days prior to arrival will receive a full refund, minus a $25 cancellation processing fee per room, per night. Cancellations made 9-5 days prior to arrival receive a 50% refund. For cancellations made less than 5 days prior to arrival, no refund will be given, and the credit card will be charged for the full stay.
To confirm your reservation, a one-night deposit, including taxes, is required and due at the time of booking.
Maximum Occupancy: Each guest room lists a maximum occupancy, and that number cannot be exceeded for any reason. Occupancy limits are set by the fire marshal and are tied to our insurance coverage. We are not permitted to make exceptions, even for a short visit or for a child sharing a bed with a parent.
Most rooms at the Inn on Church Road accommodate 2 guests. This applies to every guest in the room, including children and infants of any age. The Church Road Executive Suite is the only room that can hold 3 guests. The charge for the 3rd guest is $55 per night, regardless of that guest’s age.
If your party is larger than a room allows, please reserve a second room. Guests who arrive beyond the posted occupancy will be turned away, and we are not able to refund the reservation in that situation. If you are unsure which room fits your group, contact us before booking, and we will help you plan it.
Minimum Age and Guests Under 18: The guest who reserves the room must be at least 21 years of age and must stay in that room for the length of the reservation. Our insurance does not cover any guest under the age of 18 staying in a room without an adult. Anyone under 18 must share a room with a parent or guardian who is 21 or older. We are not able to rent a separate room to a child or teen, and we cannot place children in a room next door or across the hall on their own.
Because most rooms hold only 2 guests, a family traveling with 1 child will need 2 rooms, with one parent staying in each room. We know this is not always what families expect, so please call us before you book and we will walk you through the options.
Additional Services: Cancellations for extra services such as flowers, birthday cakes, etc, are non-refundable within 5 days of arrival.
SMOKING
We are a non-smoking property, which includes no vaping or medical marijuana. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside or near the entrances of the inn. Violators could face possible charges of $500 – $3,000 for us to clean and restore the room to its original condition, including the necessary days that the room is out of commission for its restoration.
PETS
Pets are not permitted.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY
We do not have disabled access. All bedrooms are accessed via a staircase.
CHILDREN
- Children are welcome, and the Executive Suite is the only room that fits 3 guests. There is an additional cost for the 3rd person, regardless of age.
- Every room is furnished with antiques. Any damage is charged to the guest’s account.
- We host adult guests who come here for quiet. Parents know their children best, so please consider whether the inn is the right fit before booking.
- Anyone under 18 must stay in the room with a parent or guardian who is 21 or older.
- Children cannot be placed in a separate room, next door, or across the hall.
PARKING
Parking is limited to one spot per booked room.
DIETARY RESTRICTIONS
We regularly accommodate individuals with gluten-free diets. We are also happy to accommodate any other dietary restrictions, but please note that this requires a minimum of 48 hours’ advance notice for us to prepare adequately.
LIABILITY
Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved, regardless of their actual arrival or departure date. Guests who need to depart before their reservation end date will be expected to honor their reservation commitment. No-shows are also responsible for full payment of their entire reservation. We reserve the right to cancel a reservation at any time if a guest exhibits loud or inappropriate behavior.
The kitchen is not available for guest use, nor is the dumbwaiter. Failure to comply with this and any damage to these areas will result in charges.

The Inn on Church Road does not give or sell to anyone any information we collect on our site.
We sometimes use data collection devices such as “cookies” on certain pages of the Site to measure effectiveness and safety. A “cookie” is a small file that gets placed on your hard drive that helps us provide our services. You are free to decline cookies if you choose to.
Security
At The Inn on Church Road, we take security seriously. When users make a reservation, we use every precaution to safeguard it online and offline.
Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

The Inn on Church Road may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time in order to meet changes in the regulatory environment, business needs, or to satisfy the needs of our guests, properties, strategic marketing partners, and service providers.
